Consistent posting is one of the hardest parts of social media for busy teams. Planning a full month in advance turns a daily scramble into a focused afternoon of work.

Start with three to five content pillars

Content pillars are the recurring themes your brand talks about. For a restaurant they might be dishes, behind the scenes, customer moments and offers. Pillars keep your content varied but recognisably yours.

Match formats to each pillar

Decide which formats suit each pillar: reels for behind-the-scenes moments, carousels for tips, single images for announcements. Reusing a small set of templates keeps production fast and your feed consistent.

Map the month

Note important dates first — launches, festivals, events and offers. Then fill the remaining slots by rotating your pillars so no single theme dominates.

Batch your production

Write all captions in one sitting, shoot photos and videos in one or two sessions and design posts together. Batching is far more efficient than creating one post at a time.

Leave room for the unplanned

Keep a couple of open slots each week for trends, news or customer stories that come up during the month.

Review and adjust

At the end of the month look at which posts earned saves, shares, comments and messages. Use those insights to shape next month's plan.
